Welcome to our country home where guests have been welcomed for over fifteen years. The Grapevine House was built in 1834 and restored in 1995, with a careful eye to preserve the past by your hosts, Tim and Jean Hostetler. While the house was restored and refurbished it was carefully designed around the comfort and needs of our guests. All guest room names are named after types of Grapes..

The Main House. The Grapevine House has five spacious guest rooms with queen sized beds and private bathrooms. All guest rooms feature locally handmade Amish furniture, direcTV, private entrance and air conditioning. Guests are welcomed to utilize the full service kitchen and living room. Complementary coffee, juices and soft drinks are available to all guests during their stay with us. Upon check in you will receive a five dollar ($5.00) per person voucher on your breakfast at one of six local restaurants including the Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek, Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen in Mt. Hope, Farmstead Restaurant, Boyd and Wurthman Restaurant in Berlin Winesburg Dari-ette in Winesburg, and Amish Door in Wilmot.

Erma's House. We also feature Erma's, a private house attached to the Grapevine House. Also refurbished Erma's features two private bedrooms, baths and sitting areas. We recommend this highly for couples or groups that wish to have the house to themselves. It also includes the same amenities and breakfast as in the Grapevine House.

Connecting the two houses is a large covered back porch that overlooks an Amish farm and gardens. Guests are encourage to gather on the porch to enjoy the evening breeze and relax with "friends" while viewing the scenes of Holmes County, a blend of yesterday and today.
